Asia New Bay Area 'Trilogy'
December 10, 2025

In Kaohsiung's Asia New Bay Area, we have crafted three landmark residential buildings: the Elegant Garden in 2013, Aranya Hills in 2017, and Harbor Times in 2018.
Elegant Garden (2013) was the inaugural project of the series, drawing design inspiration from the ocean and sails. We used smooth curves to simulate the dynamic of sails and employed contrasting black and white colors to define the building's exterior. Through the configuration of corner-rounded floor-to-ceiling glass, we bring the harbor view into the interior, establishing the spatial standard for modern luxury residences.
Aranya Hills (2017) deviates from the conventional design principles starting on a flat plane, instead applying a simultaneous approach to mass and plane, creating the appearance of staggered vertical settlements. In the open spaces within the site, we have placed expansive circular mirror water features, which functionally act as invisible walls and psychologically form transition spaces isolating from the external hustle, preserving tranquility for the residents.
Harbor Times (2018) The design team responded to the nearby China Steel Headquarters by using white geometric frameworks and rational collages of light and dark aluminum panels to create a rich facade expression. We seek variations within the orderliness of the volume's in-and-out surfaces, showcasing the dialogue between the stability of corporate architecture and the lightness of contemporary residential design.
These three buildings articulate a succinct response to the urban environment, reflecting SEN+'s pursuit of contemporary living spaces.
