Since its establishment in 1983, Lin Zisen Architects has been committed to designing a diverse range of projects, from residential to religious architecture of varying scales, while consistently focusing on the relationship between architecture and everyday life. Our design philosophy is grounded in structural safety, functional rationality, and practicality, further exploring the role of architecture within its environmental context and enhancing the quality of space.
Through years of practical experience, we have amassed extensive project knowledge spanning various types, crafting refined and pragmatic responses to urban and daily life. Simultaneously, the accumulated practical experience provides a stable foundation for the firm's continuous and sustainable development.

Architect Lin Bo-Yu joined the practice in 2006 and is now a co-director. His design philosophy focuses on the relationship between site conditions, user behavior, and architectural form, gradually developing a clear and understated design approach through long-term practice. He obtained his PhD from the University of Tokyo and has a background in Japanese architecture and urban research, providing him with a deep understanding of spatial composition and detail scale.
His works often originate from real-world conditions, emphasizing the use of materials and structural logic, addressing the diverse living needs within different urban contexts. Within the practice, he is responsible for integrating design thinking and project execution, continually striving to balance functionality and spatial quality in architecture.

He previously served as Deputy Design Director at KPF (Kohn Pedersen Fox) in the United States, where he participated in numerous large-scale and mixed-use architectural projects, gaining substantial practical understanding of high-density urban environments and complex project processes.
